Sheridan Arts 'The Front Door' Project
The Front Door project was a 3-month internship collaboration between Sheridan College and the Faculty of Animation, Art, and Design (FAAD). The team was made up of four interaction designers, two interior designers, and one industrial designer and led by one of the program coordinators for the Bachelor of Interaction Design program, Edward Naus.
The objective of the project was to conceptualize the use of space on campus that would encourage collaboration and creativity while showcasing Sheridan's creative community.
The end results were a number of projects, including interactive projection tiles, modular furniture, and an interactive digital donor wall. In addition, our concepts were presented to our stakeholders as part of the Sheridan College's Campus Master Plan.

A screen sample of the donors in a grid format. The visuals are a mixture of donor portraits as well as organizations or companies. The simple grid format allows users to easily view each subject without it being overwhelming or overpowering.
Digital Donation Wall

The concept of updating the digital donation wall was to have a more interactive and engaging installation that allows members of the Sheridan community to learn more about those who have donated to the school. Users can simply tap on donors to learn more and the visuals are a reflection of Sheridan's branding.
